Helen Wong

Helen Wong began flute studies with Mr. Nigel Ng and later continued with Ms. Izaskun Erdocia. She attained an LRSM in flute performance in 2011 and graduated with a  Master of Arts in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012.

 

Helen is an active flautist  in Hong Kong. When she was also the piccoloist of the Symphonic Cordiality, a local non-profit orchestra, she had performed in a fund-raising concert for the blind  in Taiwan in 2013. She has also been the first chair flute player of the Hong Kong Wind Symphony since 2012. She is often invited to perform as a  soloist in public concerts, including the annual concert of the Hong Kong Music Institute and the “World War One Tribute Concert” accompanying the Cecilian Singers. The latter was hosted by The British Consulate to raise funds for the Hong Kong & China Branch of the Royal British Legion.

 

Helen has taught the flute for 15 years and currently teaches at many local and international schools including  Harrow International School.
