Ambrose Lui

Ambrose Lui has been the violinist for the Hong Kong Sinfonietta since 2001. Ambrose Lui studied at the Boston Conservatory and the HKAPA under Bonnie Bewick of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Wong Sze-hang respectively. He was awarded scholarships from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Interlochen Arts Camp, Lamar University and Boston Conservatory. In addition to his wide recognition as a highly respected orchestral player, Ambrose Lui is also very active both as a chamber musician and soloist. He also teaches and is involved extensively in the recording and orchestrating of numerous film music productions.
