Alice Chan

Alice Chan started playing the violin at the age of 9 and has fallen in love with music ever since. She then passed both ATCL and LTCL exams of the Trinity College London with Distinction. Upon graduation from Diocesan Girls' School, Alice was admitted to Hong Kong Baptist University through the "Music Talent Development Programme" and obtained a Diploma in Musical Studies and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music. Alice wishes to share her passion through teaching. She has been engaged in various class formations in addition to private lessons. Her footsteps can be found in public schools, including King George V School (ESF), Kowloon School (ESF), Clearwater Bay School (ESF), Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Shatin), Munsang College Kindergarten etc. Many of her students, aged 4 to over 40, managed to attain Diploma level or above. Apart from teaching, Alice is an active orchestral player. She is currently a tutti violinist of Opera Hong Kong Orchestra and Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra. Being a frequent guest player of various orchestras, Alice has received invitations to different parts of the world as a violinist and violist. She has performed in Britain, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, and other main cities in Mainland China. Alice has also recorded for local Churches and Singers.
